Another few weeks and the World Cup will be here! Crazy!!! It's going to be such a crazy place in South Africa. I can't believe I'm actually staying here in South Africa for the World Cup.

I mean it's already been challenging and all for me and it's going to keep being crazy. My flatmate had this crazy spiritual attack, but it was physical the other night and that made me realize once again how real this is. Things are so real here. We are in a battle. It's basically us needing to stand firm, stand strong all the time because it is a huge battle we're in. The enemy hates what we're doing. So it's really crazy and all.

So what has my life been all about? Well researching, reading, running errands. It's actually really fun. I love that. I love how it goes. I am enjoying the after dts part of this! It's great.That was a bipolar post thing here.

I was listening to Fearless by Taylor Swift tonight and I was just realizing like what is going on. What am I doing with my life. It feels crazy and out of control at the same time but at the same time I totally don't have the control, God does. I know it sounds cliche and all but I am legitly living by faith at the moment. It's like how they say how YWAM ruins people for the ordinary and I use to never really believe or understand what they were saying until I lived it. Here I was moving to South Africa, to work in Thailand and Cambodia with multiple people whom I love and cherish so much. It's like how could I ever go back to where I was before. How can I go back home and try to go straight back into the things I knew always and forever. It's like the person I am today is completely different from the person that left Canada in late September. I don't even know what's going on anymore.

Sometimes I feel like I don't know what I am doing, my DTSers have all left and here I am. Sometimes it really truly feels like I have slid back a little. I have been sick for the last month and it's been kind of hard to keep up my energy level so anytime I have an outburst it's because yeah I don't even know half the time.

It's like everything I ever knew was thrown up and split into a million pieces and now it's like "Ok D, now it's your turn to really use all the things that I taught you with the safety of your group now go and use them:" except I realize that I'm still in the YWAM bubble but it's still like one more step into where I am going to.

How can I use these things that I've learned. How can I be the best ever that I have been trained in.

Sometimes I miss Canada. I don't know why. Maybe it's because everyone else has gone home except for a the sbsers and a few others who are super busy all the time. It's always like starting over again. I'm not good with change. I am learning that. Learning to really lay everything down and learn this. I never did before. It's hard. Life was never suppose to be easy though. God is really teaching me a whole heck of a lot now. Forever and always. I don't want to stop learning.

I even considered going back to University because I missed learning like how I would in University. I am crazy I think.

I can't wait for the World Cup though! It's going to be sweet to come back with stories that I will have to share about it and just being there. This is something I've never even experienced and so it's going to be seriously one of the craziest events ever!!!

Wow life has been such an adventure. It's gone from going to know that I am going back to Canada to going to oh I guess I'm staying in South Africa. Honestly it hasn't hit me yet. Like I am going to be staying in South Africa, with little finances, waiting on God to provide and I think that is the part I'm most excited about.
Cambodia has also been a crazy experience. We went to the Prison Genocide museum and it was heavy. I felt the pain in my left shoulder when I entered a room they had used to torture people. It was crazy. i don't even really have words to express how I felt about it so that's cool and all.
Yeahh prayer is vital at this time. Trusting is all I can do.

Life in general has been more then amazing. Man God is taking breaking my heart for what break's his. Which is what is so incredible.

Things are brought into prospective into how we don't have to fear, how we have so much to learn and how western life shields a lot of stuff that is vital to what we need to be aware of.

It's also weird to have a sun burn in the middle end of November which is also pretty crazy. It's like we're being rebuilt like a broken puzzle piece.

Currently I am sitting at a small cafe like right outside the base that I'm at and just thinking about how the best part is yet to come. I've been making worldwide friendships that I pray last longer then just chilling here. And that it's been a real challenge but this is exactly where I'm suppose to be and teh adventure will not end when I return back for a short term most likely. But still life is an incredible adventure and I want to make the most of it.

Most recently I was challenged to write a song for one of my friends on the base and I really had no idea what to write about it and then all of a sudden it was like the Holy Spirit filled me and I was able to write the song and when I played it it had a huge impact on them and it was incredible. Man I felt so pumped it was awesome!

I believe outreach will be tough but not as tough as we make it out to be.

I have been blown away by a whole lot of stuff lately.

So I am beginning to understand, things I hadn't understood before, where I stand in my gifts and how God is trying to change me to become like a worship leader as well as using my gifts for his glory. Man I am pumped for what is to come. Jesus consume my life, never let me go, change me and hold me close forever.

And I love it.

Monday we have to have an idea of where we're going.

Life is going just great.

I love this sort adventure I am venturing on.

How can something be captured through time without the mental image first.
Crazy story of the day so we were praying for one of my new friends here in M-town and all of a sudden this guy came up to her and told her about this picture he had recieved in his mind about how she was going to get the foundations for the rest of her life through that. Man it captured my heart because seriously no where else in the world would i recieve the teachings that I will recieve here. Other places I would feel far too comfortable.
I,ll be honest I was feeling super lonely when I first arrived for a few hours.... but slowly Im feeling as though even though it,s so far away that this is where God wants me to be trained and learn his teachings and become a new person through it. This is all from like a few hours of being here.
The view is so amazing. words cannot explain. God knew he wanted to put us all in this place at the same place same time. Each of us have our own part to play in this family we are coming together to create-
So much to saw but there will be more time.

Hence the realization that tomorrow night I will be flying out to Toronto - London - Cape Town....

An adventure like no other. It's going to be incredible.

So I have no idea how to post pictures or anything when I send my updates by emails so your going to have to bare with me on this!

So now I will be at the base alone as the sole Manitoban on the base. It should be interesting that's for sure. I will not post that story about how that came to come... but it did! so don't even worry about it. Yup.

This is it. The 24 hour countdown. That's crazy!

6 months of life changing experiences!

Can't wait! It will be intense!

The year that will change my life and so many others.

I'll go from the soon to be fall weather into the season of Summer! It's going to be so different! I can't wait. Although I'm nervous too! But that's ok! I'm going to learn a lot!

A first thought came to my mind, well see everyone as much as possible before I left.

Capture the essence of Fall before heading back into the season of Summer.

Take a deep breath. For this is the last time I'll be this way.

Forever will I be changed. I know it will happen.

Like I don't think I have any idea how much cultural difference there will be...
